We are looking for and hiring Project Managers!

We are looking for a suitable person to act as a project manager for construction and electrical engineering projects. The detailed description and requirements of the position are as follows:

Description of job:

  1. Responsible for project planning, programming, construction method preparation, tender technical submission and pre-qualification submission for building/infrastructure projects.

  2. Responsible for account servicing , project management from budgeting, Client & Contractor coordination, production implementation, on-site set-up and dismantle supervision;

  3. Supervise and manage the work of sub-contractors and work closely with other site operations staff to meet project schedule and deadlines, e.g. monitor and QC production progress;

  4. Adhere to construction procedures and safe work practices and ensure that works are performed within an acceptable standard of workmanship to meet the stringent requirements during site tests and inspections

  5. Provide technical support to the tender team

  6. Able to discuss with Consultants/Suppliers/Subcontractors on the tender specification requirement

  7. To liaise with sub-contractors, vendors, production team and design team for project preparation;

  8. Provide technical write-up for tender submission

  9. Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.

  10. Prepare and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and establishes means and methods for recovery

  11. Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.

  12. Starting at 25k, and remuneration with performance and experience

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent

  2. Minimum 3-5 years’ of relevant working experience in Construction Industry for commercial building projects

  3. Good written, communication and presentation skill

  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit

  5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  6. Excellent spoken and written in English and Mandarin skill is a MUST.

  7. Proficiency in PC application including MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  8. Self-motivated, proactive and independent with a positive work attitude;

  9. Organized, detail-minded, and able to work under pressure
